Nothing says a relaxing Saturday like yoga...with cats!

The Dutchess County SPCA  will host Cat Yoga on Saturday, March 19th, 2022. While cats are known to cause a little bit of chaos around the house, you can find them finding their inner zen in Poughkeepsie with yoga professional Mikelle White from Yogablossom.

Downward Dog? Nah, we're thinking Cozy Cat should be the go-to yoga pose at Dutchess County SPCA.

Don't worry if you're not a yoga professional, Cat Yoga is a beginner-level, 45-minute class. Everyone that signs up for the event must bring their own water bottle and yoga mats. With that being said, there will be additional mats on hand.

Tickets are available now for Cat Yoga at the Dutchess County SPCA. Tickets for Wet Nose Club Members are $10, while tickets for the general public are $20.

What is the Wet Nose Club?

The Wet Nose Club is a brand new membership club for Hudson Valley animal lovers. At the end of February, the Dutchess County SPCA shared that the Wet Nose Club is "an exclusive group of dedicated DCSPCA supporters. Wet Nose Club members get discounts to events and services at DCSPCA, insider news and notifications, access to special Wet Nose Club events, and perks and bonuses at many local business partners.

Cat Yoga has limited space and tickets will go faster than a cat can swat a cup of water off of a coffee table.

The Dutchess County SPCA is a no-kill shelter in Hyde Park that focuses on services such as animal rescue and care, low-cost spay/neuter clinics, county-wide humane law enforcement, and much more.
