Do you get mesmerized at the thoughts of a model train running around its tracks? Do you spend significant amounts of time creating life like landscapes for your trains to travel through and around? Then join other like minded individuals this weekend in Kingston.

On Sunday October 30, 2016 from 10AM to 4PM at the Andy Murphy Recreation Center at 467 Broadway in Kingston (next to the Rite Aid) there will be a rather large Model Train and Railroad Hobby Show.

The 'show' will feature model trains, memorabilia and ideas for the hobbyist and enthusiast alike. You will be able to purchase items at the show, and speak to people who work on historic railroads and at rail museums. There will also be a toy train raffle.

Admission is $6 for adults and $1 for kids under the age of 12.

According to the promoter, Nick Savatgy said, “there is no other show quite like this anywhere in or near Ulster County, featuring all manner of model trains and railroad hobby items.  We sincerely thank all the fans, and the City of Kingston, for helping us make a real impact on local tourism by highlighting the rich railroad history of Ulster County.   This truly is a spectacular family fun day in every way.”
