New York Ranks Low in Best States in Country

New York state loves to show off but we didn't make top five. We didn't even make top ten? I don't think I believe it.

Does pizza, great Chinese takeout and championship sports teams make a state amazing or do we need more? According to some experts, we're lacking in some essential qualities that would make New York one of the greatest states in the country.

U.S. News posted rankings of each state from best to worst based on healthcare, education, economy, financial stability, crime and environment.

New York did not come near last place. We didn't come near first either. Where did we fall? Right smack dab in the middle. New York ranks 25th on the list.

Washington came in at number one and Louisiana was dead last.
