Postage Stamp Prices Increased When? Did You Miss It?

The other day I went to the Post Office to purchase stamps. I went to hand the person my money, only to find out that it was not enough. Apparently, while I was doing important things like binge watching shows on Netfilx, the cost of a first class (or forever) stamp with the US Postal Service increased.

The price increase was not huge, one cent per stamp.The next time you go to purchase first class stamps you will be paying 50 cents a stamp. Do you collect stamps? Which stamp is your favorite?
