The Catskills Makes Underrated Food Cities List

Did you ever think that the Catskills would make a Best Food List? Buzzfeed has been out and about working hard to find hidden gems across the US and the foodie in all of us should be thanking them.

Here is a look at the 12 Most Underrated Food Cities according to Buzzfeed that included the Catskills

The reasons that Buzzfeed gives to bring this recognition to the Catskills area is because of its close proximity to Manhattan (ok, 3 hours isn't really that close) and its abundance of local produce.

The three restaurants that they choose to include in their piece are:

• Peekamouse Restaurant & Tap Room, Big Indian
• Phoenica Diner, Phoenica, NY
