Unlikely State Beats Out New York For Best Place For Fall

New York was absolutely robbed here and I don't think I can even believe it. The most unlikely state beat us for the best place to be to celebrate the fall season.

Fall is my favorite season. The weather is perfect and I love time in between summer and winter when I can save some money on running my air conditioner and heat. Besides that I get excited for all of the things that the fall season has to offer from the beautiful view of the changing leaves, apple picking and even celebrating Halloween.

When you think crisp air, delicious apples and stunning views of changing leaves there is only one state that rises above the rest. In my opinion it is New York State and I'm not alone in thinking that but unfortunately that's not the case. Lawnstarter, rate California as the best place to visit during the fall. The methodology they used to find the results were based things like:

• Amount of weeks of fall foliage.
• Number of roads for scenic drives during peak foliage.
• Haunted attractions.
• Corn mazes.
• Apple orchards.
• Pumpkin patches.
• Places for hayrides.

It's unbelievable but California beat us. New York was ranked number 2.

There is no way that California is a better state than New York to celebrate fall. We have all the metrics and we're just a few hours away from Salem. The Hudson Valley even has the iconic town of Sleepy Hollow.

I will not be grabbing my pumpkin spice latte and heading to California.
