Vote for This Hudson Valley Firefighter as ‘Sexiest Vegan’
Hello, sexiest vegan!
PETA, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, is hosting their 2019 Sexiest Vegan Next Door Contest. The contest collected entries of vegans across the United States who were chosen by their tasteful pictures and their "enthusiasm for vegan living as demonstrated by their responses to the entry questionnaire."
Lucky for us, one lower Hudson Valley firefighter has made the final cut.
Kevin Duffy is from Yonkers, New York and has been a firefighter for 8 years, according to his profile on PETA's website. He became a vegan to help his performance when it came to participating in competitions such as Ironman and marathons.
After becoming a vegan Kevin says he has seen a boost in his energy and his skin has become much clearer.
Kevin also says that his vegan lifestyle has helped his mental health "since his brother’s death on 9/11." He says he plans to give back to others by promoting healthy vegan eating to others online and to his fellow firefighters.
If you'd like to vote for Kevin Duffy for Sexiest Vegan Next Door you have until May 13th to vote at PETA.org.
