Amazon shoppers are allegedly receiving shipments of expired groceries.

Almost everyone shops online. It's easy, it's convenient and often times it is significantly more inexpensive than going all the way to a store. Does anyone have time to actually put on clothes and go in public anymore?

I recently discovered that Amazon.com sells and ships groceries.

A month or two ago I would have torn into anybody who shops for groceries online for being lazy but have you been to a grocery store lately? They aren't always the most pleasant experience. The food is expensive, it can be difficult to find help and more often then not I find myself having to check out my own items. It's almost like I work there.

It's been reported that Amazon.com's grocery category is subject to making a few mistakes time to time since the orders are being fulfilled by a different vendor.

According to Today, there have been several reports of rancid and expired food being shipped to customer's households.

Have you ever ordered groceries online? How was your experience?
