While in quarantine, cooking is one of the new trendy things to do.

I'm no chef, I just like eating good food. So in quarantine, I have been cooking up a storm...like everyone else. I know I'm not original, but I don't even care. I've made beer bread with Hudson Valley made beer. I've made brownies, pudding, elaborate steak dinners, home-made potato chips, and so much more. But my favorite thing I've made in quarantine is a double-sided sandwich.

You're probably wondering, what is a double-sided sandwich? I'll tell you, don't worry. A double-sided sandwich, is simply, the greatest thing to happen to my sandwich consumption. I'm a turkey and cheese kind of gal, I don't need anything fancy. But double-sided is the only way I will eat my sandwiches now.

A double-sided sandwich is when you have one kind of dressing or sauce on one slice of bread, and a different dressing or sauce on the other slice of bread. So here's how my double-sided sandwich would go: rye/pumpernickel swirl bread, mayo, turkey, cheese, lettuce, tomato, Boar's Head Deli Mustard, rye/pumpernickel swirl bread. It is a FLAVOR EXPLOSION.

You probably think that with all this stuff, it doesn't really matter. No. It does, it matters so much.  It's life-changing, you'll never eat a regular sandwich again. What have you been cooking or baking while in quarantine? Comment below or on our Facebook to let us know.
