
Young Workers Feel Entitled to Promotion Within a Year
Because there's not much to brag about on social media when your the lowest person on the totem pole.
It used to be that if you wanted to grow in the ranks you had to really had to prove yourself and show up.
Should you really get points for just showing up?
Generations are only getting worse. If you thought millennials were bad you probably haven't meant the next generation of entitled little monsters. It's called Generation Z and just like any generation a few bad apples can ruin the reputation for the whole bunch. In this particular case, according to the New York Post, almost 3/4 of the demographic surveyed said that they deserved a raise or a promotion within the first year of a career.
Members of the younger generation don't see it as being entitled as much as being hungry and going after what you ask for. Younger employees aren't about getting coffee and doing menial tasks for minimum wage.
