Bed Bath & Beyond Closing 60 Stores. Can You Still Use Coupons?

You totally recognize those coupons, right? The 20% of a single-item, the $5 off a $15 purchase and the $10 off a $30 purchase coupons from Bed Bath & Beyond, the coupons that never really expire.

Bed, Bath Beyond announcing this week that they would be closing 60 of their stores. As of yet, the stores that they will shutter have not been announced, but it was reported that the stores closing would be ones that were under-performing.

I am hoping that the ones I shop in will not be closing anytime soon. (I frequent the ones in Poughkeepsie and in Kingston). How long will you be able to use the coupons? You will be able to continue to use the coupons (yes, even the expired ones) until a particular store goes into liquidation mode. At that point, your valuable coupons will have zero value at a closing store, but you can expect to be able to use them at a store that will not be closing.

Side note, did you know that you can use your Bed Bath & Beyond (BBB) coupons at Harmon Face Values stores? They are also owned by BBB. However, you cannot use the coupons at the other company that BBB owns, Christmas Tree Shoppes.
