And, action!

As you're probably aware, HBO has taken over the Hudson Valley. You've heard all about Mark Ruffalo's latest project I Know This Much Is True.

Most recently, they have been seen filming in Dutchess County on Route 9 near the Kohl's plaza.

The series has been on the lookout for background actors for the past few months and they're looking again. On Tuesday, June 11, The Hudson Valley Film Commission posted a new casting call.

HBO is currently looking for actors who look like they would fit in the 1900s - 1910s - 1920s - 1930s time periods. They state that production is looking for "waifs and tatterdemalions who look like they have been at sea for weeks. Production will not book anyone with tattoos that show or modern haircuts."

For the male roles, they are looking for men with beards, the longer the better. Ladies, production is looking for women who look like they have been at sea for weeks.

If you are interested and fit the description you will have to fill out a form for the Rita Powers Casting Group.
