Christmas Set Up Appears at the Poughkeepsie Galleria...in February

Shoppers at the Poughkeepsie Galleria were buzzing late last week after something unexpected popped up at Center Court.

Christmas decorations and a North Pole like set up appeared at Center Court at the Poughkeepsie mall, which during the holiday season would make sense.

However, the Christmas display popped up in the middle of February, which had people confused.

What could they possibly be doing with this full blown Christmas display months after the holiday season?

Well, it looks like Hollywood on The Hudson strikes again!

Amazon Christmas Movie Films Across the Hudson Valley

Whispers of a Christmas movie filming at the Poughkeepsie Galleria started making their rounds. So we did some digging and here's what we found out.

An Amazon Christmas movie called Clashing Through The Snow will be filming across the Hudson Valley and in New York City.

The film stars "The Summer I Turned Pretty" heartthrob Christopher Briney (Conrad Fisher, aka CONNIE!) and Landman actress Michelle Randolph, according to Deadline.

Deadline goes on to report that Clashing Through The Snow is "being billed as a Planes Trains and Automobiles for today’s generation."

Filming got underway at the Poughkeepsie Galleria on February 17th, 2026 as film crews were seen unloading trucks and setting up lighting around the holiday set at Center Court.

Sources also tell us that there may be filming around the area of Stewart Airport. There's no official premier date yet, but we're guessing it'll be sometime around November-December 2026.

The Hudson Valley: A Holiday Movie Hotspot?

This isn't the first time a holiday movie has filmed in the Hudson Valley. Hallmark and Lifetime have picked the region several times over the years for their movie shoots.

In the past movies like A Holiday Spectacular (2022), One December Night (2021), Last Vermont Christmas (2018) and Christmas Camp ( 2018)  filmed in parts of Orange, Ulster and Dutchess Counties.

Then, of course, there are the regular television shows and movies that use the Hudson Valley as their backdrop.

The Four Seasons on Netflix wrapped filming season 2 back in November and Fox's new show Best Medicine has been making a splash with viewers across the U.S.
