Modern Nails Bar and Lash is officially open for business in the Poughkeepsie Galleria, and is located on the lower level just outside of Target's inside mall entrance. The facility is eye-catching with lots of bright lights, stunning decor, a ton of pampering stations, and even goodies and snacks!

Branded as a 'modern high-end salon, where sleek design meets the latest in fashion-forward nail art,' The Modern Nails Bar and Lash is inviting guests to come get pampered in style while simultaneously enjoying complementary (yes FREE) snacks and refreshments including bubble tea!

Blending Beauty With Personality in Poughkeepsie

As far as services go, customers will find everything from classic manicures, pedicures and acrylics, to custom 3D nail art and spa packages (with cocktails or wine), and lashes, waxing and threading, too.

Operating hours are Monday through Thursday 10am-8pm, Friday and Saturday 10am-9pm, and Sunday 11am-6pm.

The Poughkeepsie Galleria Sure Has Changed...

....and for the better! I grew up here in the Hudson Valley, and can remember my visits to the mall not being nearly as exciting as the mall trips we take today. Stopping at the Disney Store (and eyeing that massive pile of stuffed animals) was probably the highlight of our trip back in the day, and when Build A Bear came to the mall, that was a huge game changer. These days there's so many fun and unique stores, not to mention great food options, and entertainment for kids (little and big kids alike) - I'm not sure any of us predicted a time when the mall would have a tattoo and piercing shop, right?
