Don’t Miss Photos from WRRV Sessions with Dayglow
History may have been made in a few different ways on Friday night at Newburgh Brewing Company during WRRV Sessions.
WRRV Sessions are free live alternative shows we host with our friends at Newburgh Brewing Company (also huge thanks to Devitt's Nursery and Supply in New Windsor and Healy Brothers). Let's start with the more standard history-making moment.
History Made at WRRV Sessions?
Dayglow (a project by front man Sloane Struble) has had massive hit records and toured all across the country, but this was his first stop ever in the Hudson Valley. He had only great things to say about the people ("everyone's so nice"), natural beauty, and even the art scene.
Dayglow Checks Out the Hudson Valley
The band had a whole day to themselves in the Hudson Valley before taking the stage at WRRV Sessions, and Sloan shared that they had an amazing time enjoying the art across the river at Dia Beacon. Now, the second piece of history...
All Ages at WRRV Sessions
WRRV Sessions is an all-ages show, and there have always been audience members ranging from infants to grandparents. This is the first time, however, that there was an acrobatic dancing baby.
""I've Never Seen Anything Like It"
Noticing the baby from stage, Sloan paused the show to share what he was seeing with the audience. "If you're listening on-air right now, you would not believe what just happened in this room. There is a baby dancing on the tables... I've never seen anything like it. I don't know how to describe it, Newburgh must be a very magical place", he quipped.

It just goes to show that you never know what will happen at WRRV Sessions. Download the WRRV app (above) to make sure you're the first to know about the next show!
