Red Rum Club Kicks Off Tour...& Makes A Stop In Newburgh

Hailing all the way from Liverpool, our new pals in Red Rum Club, all six of them, made some time during the first week of their U.S. tour to perform at WRRV Sessions!

Known for their unique sound, their amazing integration of a trumpet in their songs, fans near and far have so many different ways to describe the Red Rum Club sound. We learned during the pre-show interview that one of their favorite classifications happens to be 'trumpety fun.'

Kicking off the tour in Boston on Tuesday the 28th, and then straight to Newburgh on Wednesday for Sessions, we talked with the crew about their next stop, Philly on the 30th before heading back to NY for a city show on May 1st.

Red Rum Club Delivers Fully Plugged In Full Set at WRRV Sessions

We've been getting spoiled lately with our Sessions performances. Recently, some of our artists and bands have been rolling into town while on tour, bringing with them their own sound team, a full stage show, we even had a tour bus not long ago.

Giving us a nine song set, with electric performances of some fan-favorites including their latest single Crush, TX, Would You Rather Be Lonely, Vibrate (my personal fav.) and of course, Vanilla.
