Epic Photos from Neon Tree’s WRRV Sessions Performance
Wednesday isn't usually a day for partying with rock bands in the Hudson Valley... except when it happens to be a WRRV Sessions day.
Neon Trees made their WRRV Sessions debut at Newburgh Brewing Company on Wednesday, November 13th, and their performance was just as electric as the massive crowd who showed up to rage on a weekday.
Neon Trees Bring Their Massive Hits to WRRV Sessions
Neon Trees, who have been together for over 15 years, have made a lasting impact on alternative radio. With songs like Animal, Sleeping with a Friend, and Everybody Talks, it was a full-on singalong at Newburgh Brewing Company.

Before the band took the stage, they stopped by the broadcast table (below) to talk about their storied career. In a refreshing turn, the band shared that they still found joy in the minutiae of constant travel that inevitably comes with being a professional musician (drummer Elaine recommends finding a coffee shake at your nearest Wawa the next time you're on the road).
Neon Trees' New Album Sink Your Teeth
Neon Trees opened the show with Animal and Sleeping with a Friend before switching to sharing new music from their latest album, Sink Your Teeth (check out Bad Dreams below). The way the show ended, however, was the best moment of the night.
For their last song, lead singer Tyler Glenn began with a monologue that transitioned into their smash hit, Everybody Talks. Halfway through the song, the entire band froze, leading to thirty second of hilarious anticipation as the audience waited with baited breath for the chorus to drop one more time.
WRRV Sessions are free shows made possible by Healy Brothers, Ballentine Communications, and Devitt's Nursery & Supply in New Windsor. Make sure to download the WRRV App (above) to be the first to know about the next show!
