If you don't know Scott Wiener, he can be summed up like this: he's forgotten more about pizza than any of us have ever known.

He's the man behind Scott's Pizza Tours, consistently one of the highest-rated tours New York City has to offer, and if you've been on one, you know why: he manages to make the history of pizza and its relationship with American culture so interesting and exciting that his enthusiasm is completely contagious. Plus you get to eat the best pizza in New York.

He's a good friend of ours here at WRRV, including having taken listeners on a private tour. He's also been a judge of major pizza competitions, written books, and has the Guinness World Record for largest pizza box collection. For real:

So when I heard there was a potential documentary coming out on him, I had to find out more. Turns out that not only is there a Kickstarter going for the project, it's actually been named a Kickstarter "Staff Pick."
