
Millennial Couples Choose Solo-moons Over Honeymoons
Getting married to someone means you're more than likely going to be spending a lot of time with them. What would it hurt to get one more vacation in by yourself or with your buds.
Weddings are expensive. It seems like a cheaper one can still run you almost $10,000. If you're going to throw in a little getaway with the love of your life that's going to be another $4,000. If you're going to spend that kind of money on a vacation shouldn't you go somewhere that you really want to?
According to The Huffington Post, a lot of broke millennial newlyweds realize that they may not get another vacation until long after their wedding date so they've decided to splurge and take separate vacations.
These little vacations right after the wedding have been dubbed 'solo-moons' or 'uni-moons.'
Would you ever take a separate vacation from your newlywed spouse?
Is one final trip with the guys or a ladies vacation to Cancun something that you'd choose over a generic cruise where your impressed with a little towel folded into an elephant.
