Moby Is Alive & Re-Issuing Old Music
Moby is alive, on tour and re-releasing music. Here's the details:
Moby is revisiting his long out-of-print album "Hotel Ambient." The collection of quiet electronic music was originally released in 2005, but Moby is re-releasing it this week with a few bonus tracks. He tells "The Hollywood Reporter" it's filled with the kind of music he listens to when he's anxious, needs help sleeping, or finds himself stuck in traffic. And while he admits there probably isn't a huge market for that right now, he says he just wanted to put it back out there "for the ten people who still buy records."

Moby is also set to kick off his so-called "Ambient World Tour," which actually is just four shows in southern California. The first three will take place Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at the Hollywood Forever Masonic Temple in Los Angeles. The final show will be a benefit show near Joshua Tree on December 21st.
