
Poughkeepsie Woman to Appear on NBC’s Songland
We all love a good success story from right here in the Hudson Valley. A local song writer from right here in the Hudson Valley is doing big things in L.A. and we can all tune in to support her.
Are you familiar with NBC's new show, Songland? It's okay if you're not. Will give you a pass since the show is in its infancy. The show has been described as Shark Tank for music lovers. It's quite a different spin than the other music shows we may be familiar with. Singers and songwriters perform their original music in front of some of the biggest names in the music industry.
If you live in the Hudson Valley there's a special featured in season one of Songland tonight. You can support a young songwriter from Poughkeepsie, Samantha Derosa.
You may know another song Samantha has to some of her credit called Broken, the hit from Lovelytheband.
