Now Welcoming: Red Rum Club To WRRV Sessions

Since we did our last WRRV Sessions at the very beginning of March, it kind of feels like we skipped a month, but we haven't, and fear not, we've got a pretty special night planned for you on Wednesday, April 29th!

Coming off back to back Sessions shows from Des Rocks and The Ramona Flowers (their third time with WRRV), we are excited to welcome first-timers Red Rum Club to the taproom!

Meet Red Rum Club!

Hailing from the UK, Merseyside to be exact (northern side of England), Red Rum Club are a British alternative rock band. They're a pretty big band, with their vocalist Fran Doran, guitar and backing vocals from Tom Williams and Michael McDermott, Simon Hepworth on bass guitar, their trumpet player Joe 'the Blow' Corby, and last but not least, Neil Lawson behind the drum kit.

They've been together about ten years now, but all band members have experience playing with other bands prior to coming together as Red Rum Club. With five albums under their belt, the latest last year's 'Buck' - Red Rum Club are sure to bring some energy to the Newburgh Brewing Company Sessions stage.

Red Rum Club at WRRV Sessions, April 29th

The taproom doors will open at 4pm on Wednesday April 29th, with Red Rum Club joining Val for an interview at 6pm, and then giving us a fully plugged in set.

Sessions is of course open to all, family friendly, and always FREE! All you need is your WRRV app at the door to get in. We couldn't make these shows possible without our wonderful partners, Rutberg Breslow Personal Injury Law, Sohns Appliance Center, Newburgh Brewing Company and SUNY Orange Plus.
