If you want to get on a child's bad side all you have to do is ban candy. Especially during Christmas time.

It's supposed to be a magical, inclusive and forgiving time. It's a time when no matter what you celebrate you can slow down and be a little kinder to you neighbor.

Over the years both schools and work places have gone above and beyond to make the holidays more inclusive for everyone. Some people take that a little too seriously.

According to Fox, a Nebraska school principal is on administrative leave after banning all Christmas related material including, trees, Santa and even as far as candy canes due to their symbolic history representing the blood of Jesus.

Are kids really taking offense to the holiday spirit and traditions or are parents ruining everything?

If they want to be inclusive shouldn't they allow all religious objects and use them as tools to educate? Even my Planet Fitness has a tree and Menorah.
