Last week, there was the first unfortunate story of a New Rochelle high school student that was stabbed to death, off campus. This week there was a second stabbing, this one involving a student in a classroom, his injuries include non-life threatening injury to his spleen and lung.

Many parents have been asking the New Rochelle school administrators what they are going to do to keep their children, New Rochelle students, safe.

In response to the parents, the administrators say that they have taken additional security measures to include additional security on and off campus. Administration has also put restrictions on who is able to enter campus during school hours and students will no longer be able to leave campus during their lunch or free periods.
