[PHOTOS] Wilderado’s Incredible Return To WRRV Sessions

Last Thursday, May 22nd, was another one for the memory books as we welcomed Wilderado back to the taproom at Newburgh Brewing Company for an encore Sessions show.

The room was packed with plenty of familiar (and new) faces as we were treated to a full-band set from Wilderado, just a day ahead of their Boston Calling gig.

Wilderado Returns To Newburgh Brewing Company

Nearly three years ago (I know, time flies), we welcomed Wilderado's lead singer, Max Rainer, to the Hudson Valley for an awesome mid-summer WRRV sessions. Ahead of that show, Max gave an incredible interview, interacting with attendees in the crowd and commenting on something we're well aware of - how cool the Hudson Valley is.

This time around, Max brought the rest of the Wilderado gang along to the Hudson Valley, and again talked about the highlights of our beautiful area of New York, chatting with fans and Sessions attendees, and once again rocking the taproom [is that lead singer Max sporting a Newburgh Brewing hoodie?].

Live On-Air Wilderado Q&A

We always say 'you never know what's gonna happen at a WRRV Sessions' - and we mean that in the best way. Special guests, bonus tracks, and in the case of Wilderado, their signature Sessions highlight, an opportunity mid-performance for concert-goers to ask the band questions, live on the radio!

There was also an added bonus, just ahead of Wilderado going live from the taproom, a full-blown flash mob took the floor...well more than the floor actually, they were dancing across tabletops. Check out Passion Adult Dance Studio's live flash mob below:

We got to hear some Wilderado favorites, like Surefire, and of course their new track, Higher Than Most - check out their Sessions setlist, here. It was yet another great night at Newburgh Brewing Company for WRRV Sessions thanks to Healy Brothers, Devitts Nursery and Supply, Farmer's Choice Dispensary, SUNY Orange Plus, and Ballentine Communications.
