Should National Deep Dish Pizza Day be Outlawed in New York?

It's hard to believe that the empire state of mind can be clouded by second-rate pizza, but it seems like we have to have this conversation. I'm not sure why I have to even ask, but which one do you think is better: deep dish pizza or thin crust?

Today is National Deep Dish Pizza Day, and I honestly believe that this day should be banned in the state of New York.

As someone who has had real deep dish pizza in Chicago and thin crust in New York City, I wholeheartedly believe that deep dish pizza and their 20 lbs of sauce doesn't measure up to our pizza.
