List of Stores Closing This Year

Many stores have already announced that they will be closing a number of stores this year. Here is the list of what you can expect:

A lot of stores will be going out of business this year, while others will be reducing the number of stores that they own.  Retail consultant Telsey Advisory Group says many national retail chains are planning store closures in 2015, including Radio Shack, Wet Seal, Office Depot, Office Max, Abercrombie & Fitch, Staples and JC Penney. The most store closures will come from Radio Shack, which plans to close almost 18-hundred stores. 

Locally, Radio Shack will be closing stores in Middletown, Yorktown, Monroe, Kingston, Monticello, NY and Danbury, CT.
