Sunday Funday For An Awesome Cause at Newburgh Brewing

We've been talking about our annual Shop With A Cop Campaign for a while now as we prepare for another fun-filled morning of giving back to Hudson Valley kids ahead of the holidays this year.

For those unfamiliar with the program, each year around the holidays, WRRV partners with the Town of Poughkeepsie PBA to raise funds to give back to local children. Community members can both donate to Shop With A Cop, as well as nominate a deserving family.

All donations stay right here in the Hudson Valley, and get turned into gift cards for local children to go on a shopping spree ahead of the holidays with a member from a local law enforcement branch. We have given hundreds of kids a brighter holiday over the years with the program.

Out & About Raising Funds

Maybe you've seen us around the Hudson Valley this fall raising awareness and funds for our Shop With A Cop campaign at different events. Just last weekend, we spent Saturday at the Poughkeepsie Galleria running our 'Shopper Shuttle' - we were carting people from the mall to their vehicles and vice versa, and any donations on the shuttle went directly towards Shop With A Cop.

Sunday Funday Fundraising

Our final push for Shop With A Cop will happen this Sunday, December 14th in collaboration with our friends at Newburgh Brewing Company. From 12pm until 6pm (their operating hours), the WRRV crew will be hanging out at the Brewery, giving away some great prizes, and 10% of ALL sales from the day will go directly towards Shop With A Cop. Thank you to our wonderful partners at Newburgh Brewing Company for welcoming us yet again into the taproom, and for their generosity.

So, in between all of your holiday errands on Sunday, make some time to swing by Newburgh Brewing for a beer and some food for a great cause!
