VIDEO: Violence Erupts at Protest in Pleasant Valley

Protesters clashed this weekend in Pleasant Valley leading to violence.

Protests have erupted throughout the country and the Hudson Valley since early June. Most of the marches and protests have been mostly peaceful including the protests and demonstrations in Poughkeepsie and near West Point. Unfortunately, with the events that took place this past weekend in Pleasant Valley one of the latest marches in the Hudson Valley cannot be added to the list as a shining example.

According to a video from a demonstrator marching for the Black Lives Matter movement, the peaceful march turned violent after protesters were met with opposition near downtown Pleasant Valley.

All Lives Matter / Blue Lives Matter protester assembled downtown as well.

Physical altercations ensued halfway through the march.
