New York banned vape flavors because they drew children to vaping  and then two weeks later I see candy cigarettes back in Hudson Valley stores? Hypocritical much?

I'm not a smoker and I don't vape so I don't have a dog in this fight but the recent and very sudden vape flavor ban really concerned me. The reasoning didn't quite add up to me. Due to a few deaths we were told by the CDC and the FDA that it was dangerous.

Is vaping good for you? I doubt it. I don't think you need to be an expert to know that putting anything in your lungs other than oxygen is good for you but is it so different than smoking?

One of the biggest reasons we were told vape flavors were banned was because the fruity flavors were attracting kids to vaping. Maybe that's true to some degree but how is that different than alcohol flavors?

It's been years since I've seen candy cigarettes in stores. Just weeks after the vape ban they coincidentally are back. If this isn't marketing to kids than what is?
