Edgehill Makes Their Hudson Valley Debut at WRRV Sessions
WRRV Sessions are free, live shows hosted in the taproom at Newburgh Brewing Company, and over the last 10 years, there has been an amazing mix of both established and up-and-coming bands who have graced the stage.
Edgehill's performance this week, however, was a little more exciting than usual. Not only was it the first time Edgehill was playing in the Hudson Valley, but it was their first time playing at a radio station event... ever.
About WRRV Sessions Guests Edgehill
Edgehill is an exciting new band out of Nashville, Tennessee. While they've been making music and touring for several years, it was only this year that they released their first radio single, Doubletake. As they explained when the band stopped by the broadcast table (below), 2025 has been an exciting year of many different "firsts".
Edgehill Shares Career Milestones at WRRV Sessions
Singer Chris Kelly shared the excitement of the band doing the kinds of things they had previously only dreamed of. "It's been busier than ever", Kelly shared. "[We're getting] tons of opportunities... being on the radio is something that as a kid I saw as 'making it', so it's been pretty amazing". They also shared an unexpected joy of touring: playing hacky sack.
"We've been obsessed with hacky sack", admitted Kelly. "It's unhealthy really... we can turn a five-hour drive into a seven-hour drive by playing hacky sack for an hour at each gas station stop".
Edgehill has previously toured with Dexter and the Moonrocks, Kaleo, and Dogpark, and they're hitting the road again in November 2025 with Winyah. Keep up with the latest from Edgehill here, and keep scrolling to check out more WRRV Sessions performances at Newburgh Brewing Company.
