It's sad when a band starts to get to stale and needs go hang up their instruments. It happens. A band right here in the Hudson Valley is being forced to retire.

The animatronic band at Chuck E. Cheese locations will be slowly retired and dismantled. It's not clear what's next for the Chuck E. Cheese Band. Could the Munches Make Believe Band have entertained their last birthday party?

The CEO of Chuck E. Cheese told CBS News, "The kids stopped looking at the animatronics years and years ago, and they would wait for the live Chuck E. to come out."

It's most likely that all of the locations will see the bands slowly phased out. The restaurants will be revamped in order to entertain a new generation of children.

Maybe they'll be replaced with a hologram? We aren't exactly sure what's next for the band. Should they be inducted into the Hall of Fame?

Will David Crosby and Ted Nugent argue about it on Twitter? Let's hope so.
