Experts claim Stuber should not cost the same as The Avengers: Endgame. Movie ticket sales have been declining for awhile now. Would this help build up other movies and not just the big blockbusters?

It's no surprise that a night out at the movies could cause a serious dent in your wallet. The last time I went to the movies, it cost me just over $27.00. I saw Midsommar and it wasn't worth the cost of admission. It was good, just not good enough to cost the same as a tank of gas.

According to the Hollywood Insider, film distributors are contemplating having variable prices at the box office based on the budget of the film. Films like Star Wars would have a higher cost than lower budget movies.

Regal Cinemas has been playing with this idea in select markets but the idea was scrapped before any real results came in.

The downfall to the idea is that a lower ticket price could hurt the film as it could be perceived as cheap or low budget.
