If they had plays like this when I was a kid I might have joined the drama club.

A high school drama club is getting national attention for making an unconventional choice for their latest play.

I'm not a parent but I can't imagine anything worse than being dragged to your kid's high school play. I'm sorry but I guess I'm not a fan of 'traditional' theater. Nothing against any drama club but they always seem to perform the same classics like Grease, Bye Bye Birdie, Guys & Dolls and 12 Angry Men.

Bergen High School in New Jersey may have changed the game forever. It even had it's own trailer.

 

Yes, that's right. These kids at North Bergen High School actually converted Ridley Scott's Alien into a play. The whole production is pretty epic. It's unfortunate the these kids can't win any major awards because it was probably the best production of the year so far. Can we get these kids to Broadway?
