There is a town in California that has a dog for a mayor. The town is Idyllwild, CA and the name of the mayor is Max. He was elected into office on June 2012, to a one year term. He then has been succeeded by his off spring after his passing in 2013.

This mayor also takes appointments, participates in ribbon cuttings, fundraisers and parades. Is there a dog in the Hudson Valley who is worthy of being a Mayor?
