Jumping Out of a Plane Was the Most Intense Experience I’ve Had
I'm a pretty adventurous person and I've done some crazy things but skydiving has got to be one of the most intense and amazing experiences I've ever had.
I'm not afraid of heights, but skydiving was never a thing I would have considered doing. Sure, it has crossed my mind. It's on a lot of people's "bucket list" of things to do. Don't wait.
I recently stopped by Skydive the Ranch and had the pleasure of hopping out of a perfectly good plane and I loved every minute of it.
Of course, I was a little nervous at first. I've never jumped out of a plane before. I was quickly briefed on tandem skydive safety. As I saw multiple planes full of jumpers go up and down about every half hour, my tension started to ease.
I was strapped into my instructor (Tall Eric) on the plane and I hopped out at roughly 13,000 ft.
Here's why free falling was so amazing for me. I've got high anxiety, I've dealt with depression and I have my stresses like everyone else. All of that was forgotten the moment I dove out of that plane. I can't remember the last time I had ever live in the moment like that. You're only focused on yourself and the view and what's next. You're not thinking about your debt, relationship issue or that project you didn't finish at work.
If you've ever contemplated skydiving or even been remotely curious you should check out Skydive the Ranch and jump with the professionals. It's hard to describe that feeling of having zero stress even if it's just for a few minutes. You'll have to find out for yourself.
