
Classic Monty Python Film To Be Shown At The Bardavon
In celebration of the 40th anniversary of the release of the classic comedy Monty Python's Life Of Brian, The Bardavon in Poughkeepsie will screen the film on Thursday, April 18th at 7:30 PM.
Set in 33 A.D. in Judea, the film tells the story of Brian Cohen who is mistaken for the Messiah. Inevitably hijinx ensue and the Monty Python cast is at their best in this one.
The anniversary screening is taking place across 400 theaters in the U.S., U.K., Germany, Australia, Canada, and Scandinavia. Tickets are $10 and each audience member will receive a commemorative poster, sticker and origami boulder.
