Village Pancake Factory Announces Poughkeepsie Galleria Closure

Back during 'the early Covid days' of 2021, the Hudson Valley was excited for the news of an 'over the top' pancake restaurant expanding into the old Ruby Tuesday location in the Poughkeepsie Galleria. Village Pancake Factory, with an established Pleasant Valley location has been serving up their seemingly endless list of pancake varieties (and of course other foods) in the Galleria ever since, but over the weekend, notified locals that they would be closing their Poughkeepsie doors.

Today is our last day in the Poughkeepsie Galleria..a huge thank you to the community for supporting us at this location for the last 3 years. We have taken this time to learn and grow as a small company.

Former 'Hudson's' Will Soon Be New Pancake Factory Location

Following the Galleria closure announcement, Village Pancake Factory dropped the news that they would soon be occupying the former iconic Hudson's Ribs and Fish location.

Hudson's closed their doors quite a few years back, followed by a short run by ODA and BarVino which opened in 2022 and quietly closed up shop in 2024.

Fast forward to present day, get excited for Village Pancake Factory to make a new home for themselves in Fishkill. In their Instagram announcement they shared the following:

We have purchased the old Hudson Ribs and Fish and are currently working on a complete renovation. We hope to see all our customers, friends, and family this summer.

While formal timeline for opening has been announced, those looking to get their pancake fix can still visit the Pleasant Valley location at 1540 Route 44, Pleasant Valley, NY 12569.
