Local Rescue Now Accepting Your Unused Jewelry To Help Animals
We love the opportunity to support a local organization that works towards bettering the community, especially when it has to do with helping the many animals in the community.
There are several rescues, shelters and non-profits in the area that operate for the sole purpose of helping our four-legged friends, who often need help the most.

Compassionate Animal Rescue Efforts of Dutchess County, Wappingers
Full disclosure, any opportunity to support this particular rescue organization is one that i'll support, as I adopted the most adorable mother/daughter duo from them back in 2019.
These two sweetest most loving cats around were rescued from Mississippi a little over six years ago, but they've adjusted to life as New Yorkers just fine!
Compassionate Animal Rescue Efforts of Dutchess County is based out of Wappingers Falls, and have been working to help the animals of the Hudson Valley (and beyond) since 2016. They are a no-kill non-profit pet adoption agency, have a thrift shop to benefit the operation of the shelter, and of course, accept donations (monetary, pet-related supplies, even blankets to keep the animals comfy!)

Got Forgotten Treasures? They Can Help The CARE of DC Animals!
CARE of DC are looking for a different type of donation in July, something sparkly, shiny, and special. Can you help them turn forgotten treasures into second chances? There's a jewelry fundraiser scheduled at CARE of DC from July 21st through 26th, so to prepare, they will be accepting gently used pieces; costume/estate pieces, gold chains, bracelets, rings, watches, sterling silver jewelry, flatware, and earrings too.
Your unwanted jewelry can help us raise much-needed funds for food, medical care, and shelter for our rescue animals.
So, now's the time to go through the jewelry box, look for those items that you don't wear anymore that you've been looking to get rid of, and give them to a great cause.
Pieces can be dropped off or mailed in to the CARE of DC Thriftshop: 949 Route 376 - Wappingers Falls, NY 12590.
Can you own these animals as pets in New York?
