Newburgh Brewing to Donate Thanksgiving Meals to Locals in Need
As we quickly head into another holiday season, the sad reality is that there are countless members of our local communities left wondering how they'll make it work, and how they'll be able to put food on the table for the holidays.
In light of the recent SNAP benefit situation, and the various other factors impacting our general cost of living, there have been a number of resources and assistance opportunities around the Hudson Valley to help residents along.
Now, one Orange County-based business has joined the efforts, and announced a free Thanksgiving meal opportunity.

Newburgh Brewing To Donate 300 Thanksgiving Meals
On the heels of their 3rd annual 'Books for the 'Burgh and Friends' event, where Newburgh Brewing once again organized an 'adult book fair' of sorts where community members generously purchased books to be donated to local libraries, they have once again brought the community together to give back in another way.
Ahead of the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, which typically comes with a hefty price tag for groceries, Newburgh Brewing Company has announced they will be preparing and distributing 300 individual fully cooked Thanksgiving meals.
Packaged in their own food container, each meal kit will include fully cooked individual servings of turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing and mixed veggies, as well as fresh pasta.
No reservations, no restrictions about residency, no questions asked; just simply show up to Newburgh Brewing Company at 88 South Colden Street in Newburgh between 12pm and 4pm the day before Thanksgiving, Wednesday, November 26th, to pick up your meal.
Local Businesses Team Up for Thanksgiving Meal Donations
In addition to the team at Newburgh Brewing Company, the meal donations are made possible with support from locally based DuBois Law Group and Bivona's Simply Pasta. The video below provides some additional information from the organizers and partners in this generous Thanksgiving meal opportunity for those in need.
Another fine example about Hudson Valley businesses working together to assist the community however they can.
